Any tips to get into the COSMOS Midwifery Program at Royal Women's (Melbourne)?
I've read that it's really difficult to get a place in the COSMOS Caseload (1 midwife + backup caring for you all pregnancy) program at the Royal Women's Hospital in Melbourne.
I'm currently 7 weeks pregnant with my first baby and have only just received my referral acceptance from the Women's in the mail (no mention of COSMOS on the letter though even though my GP requested), and am super keen to get on the program.
Those that have successfully gotten a spot in the program, how did you get in? Did you call up beforehand? Did you just mention it at your first appt at the Womens? (When even is that? It's not stated in the letter!)
Thanks for your help!
