Should I go back back and read the 0.5 volumes that I skipped over?

I just finished reading volume 6 of the LN. But I have skipped over all the .5 volumes so far and only now learned that they are actually cannon to the LN, not just filler. It sucks. However, I had previously watched till the end of season 2 of the anime. I picked up the LN right after watching s02. I know season 2 ends at volume 7.5 which already suggests it's an important volume. Should I go back and read all the .5 chapters now or keep going forward to catch up to the 7.5 so I get to in the dark since I haven't watched season 3 yet. I wanna keep going forward but if I'm missing a lot of info, I will go back and read the .5 volumes or at least the ones you guys seem "important" or "good".
