Modding convoy drivers question

So I started building some simple lights now that parts came in. An s2+ triple cslpm1.tg and a knockoff s6 pattern(I think) with sft25r 6500k. I’m running the 8a buck in both.

The s6 runs awesome, pencil thin laser beam, it’s dope.

The s2+ I want to push more amps through. I know it’s gonna get hot and it’s pointless as the thermals won’t allow a very useful light. But I don’t want useful, I want stupidly overpowered just because. I have some other hosts and emitters and drivers coming to make some more dumb shit that people will roll their eyes at, but it’s the learning and the building and making shit you can’t buy, just because, that I’m after. I also have some normal stuff I wanna build too.

Now my question is, stacking the sense resistor or changing it on the 5a linear driver. I know I need .010ohm for 10a or stack a second .020ohm to get the same result.

Now when searching the threads I found someone linked some he used rated at .5w from mouser. But I found some r010 and r020 but says rated at 1w. I can’t find the same spec resistor as he used anywhere but mouser.

What would a .010ohm or .020ohm resistor that’s .5w translate to, if rated at 1w? Do I just double the value? Or are they the same just depends what you’re pushing through it? The .5w resistors from mouser are marked the same “r010” “r020” as the ones I found rated at 1w.

I don’t know shit about circuits or any of this in depth electrical stuff, but I am a welder/fabricator and very mechanically inclined so I’m trying to learn because this shit is fun as hell lol.
