Favorite Squid Game! DAY 5 - Stepping Stones

DAY 5: STEPPING STONES

The players stand on the rotating platform. The music starts and the platform rotates. Round and round and round and round...

The number 4 is called! 16 teams rapidly form, mostly based on previous alliances. 6 people don't make it into a room and are shot. 64 players remain.

Then the number 10 is called. 4 members remain out of the doors and are eliminated. 60 players remain.

The rounds continue like this over and over, as more and more blood is spread on the floor.

During the games, some players try desperately to remain together, but fail, as everyone runs around, pushes each other, try to secure a place in a room by the end of the time.

Player 240 tries desperately to not leave the side of Players 090, 311 and 386, but, between the confusion, he loses 311 in the third round and 386 in the fifth one.

Player 395, instead, carried all the way through Players 177 and 316, but, at the last round, while they were already in a room, another player, 115, to get in, grabbed 316's hand and threw her out only to then get in herself and lock the door, assuring her safety.

Other Players just used yhis game to turn on each others, like Player 115 who kicked out of her room Player 355, after being allied with her since the first game.

Yet other Players fought over who should leave their group, such as Player 046 and 422, with the first sacrificing himself to save 422.

From 60 to 48. From 48 to 33. From 33 to 25.

The game is finally said to end and everyone's moral is under their shoes. Many cry.

25 Players pass onto the fifth round!

The prize is now up to 43,1 billion won.

Back in the dormitory, multiple fights are about to start again, after what happened in that game, as some even propose again to vote to get out, but then Player 395 put himself in the middle, stopping the fights. As heartbroken as he was, he couldn't stand to see other people uselessly killing each others.

Another vote was held, but 13 Players vote to stay and finish the games. Player 077 feels the need to comment on how stupid the vote even was, after coming so far.

No one sleeps that night.

Fifth day, fifth game!

The next day, the players are brought to a white room and told to choose a number between 1 and 25, without knowing the game.

(Since you guys at home know what the game is, I can't let you make this choice, as it'd be biased)

Once the order is chosen, the players step in the next room, where 25 pairs of glass tiles are placed in front of them on top of a pit. One will hold their weight, one will not. They will have to reach the other side.

So.

This is a game of luck, you can tell me eventual strategies or thoughts or similar, but ultimately, it's a luck game and we'll have to all pray that our favorites make it through.

Who are you rooting for at this point? Who deserves to win? Who deserves to lose? Please tell me your predictions and your bets, as now we're just a few posts away from declaring the Favorite Squid Game Winner!
