Pain immediately after cortisone injection, no relief
Hi all, I had my first ever cortisone with local anaesthetic injection earlier today and was upset to just experience pain in the site of the injection rather than any relief. It was to see how much pidgin is being caused by the hip.
Feeling jealous of those people who felt great afterwards and worried why I didn't get that. I couldn't lift my leg onto the bed once I returned to my room, due to the pain, and had to get my husband to lift it up. I thought I'd be walking out comfortably, but hobbled out worse than how I walked in!
Diagnosed with dysplasia and a labral tear. I think my consultant thinks I'm making a big deal out of it!
Has anyone else had this experience?
