Does screen brightness matter when screen recording on iPhone 15 Pro Max?

I hope this isn’t a stupid question (and I screen record gameplay from channels that explicitly give permission, to add my own commentary to, the gameplay is usually unrelated I just need something visually engaging!)

But if I have one clip that I manually turned my brightness all the way up before I screen record, but forget to do this for another video clip (with the brightness much lower due to auto brightness, because generally auto brightness is best on my eyes for general phone use) so the second video clip is recorded when the brightness is much lower, will there be a noticeable sudden drop in brightness in the final video (if I don’t manually adjust brightness in video editing)?

I am assuming if one video clip is screen recorded at 100%, and then the second one was screen recorded at, say 40% brightness, that the 40% brightness would now be darker at 100% than the one actually recorded at 100%?

Basically the brightness would be inconsistent now, right? Or does it work in a way where it somehow equals itself out?

Or would the viewer have to change brightness throughout the video to stay the same brightness? I’m more worried if the brightness suddenly drops (and it’s my video, not their phone or computer screen) they will be more likely to say “this person’s video editing sucks” and close the video.
