Is making porcelain casting slip a different process?

I've gotten into slip casting over the last several months and want to try casting with porcelain slip. I know I can purchase porcelain casting slip but I like trying to make it myself as I've been doing already.

Is making slip from dry porcelain the same as stoneware?
