Started taking Magnesium Citrate & Glycinate Gummies 2x a day (1x Citrate in afternoon, 1x Glycinate before bed)—total of 200mg a day. THIS SUPPLEMENT HAS CHANGED MY LIFE (23 yrs/F/120 lbs).
I feel like a whole different person. Literally. I used to have dehibiliating headaches almost every single day of my life, and since the day I started this routine (about 4 weeks ago) I have had absolutely NO HEADACHE. I used to have to pop Tylenol like candy.
Anxiety? Much more manageable. I feel a sense of calm after taking this supplement, which leads me to my next point...
I sleep like a freaking baby now. When my head hits the pillow and I choose to sleep, I'm out. But that's the good part—if I want to stay up and watch TV, it doesn't make me so tired that I can't do that. It just makes me feel relaxed and ready to sleep when I want to. AAANDD it helps me sleep through the entire night (granted I don't have to pee, lol).
I really highly recommend this supplement to anyone who thinks they may be deficient. It's definitely experimental (some people cannot tolerate Citrate—but for me, it just helps my normally-constipated-self feel relief without it feeling like a laxative) so be prepared to spend some money on what form of Magnesium works best for you. Glycinate is always a safe choice to start with.
Anyways, had to share. If this can help one person solve their chronic headache issue, I'll feel accomplished. I truly could write a novel about how much Magnesium has improved my quality of life.
