What do you remember from your first WWE show?

Last year i went to my first WWE event from WWE’s Road To Bash In Berlin, or so i thought

In the weeks before going, I vaguely remembered i went to a WWE show about 15 years ago which i do not remember a lot of since i was about 10 years old.

I played the SvR games with my brother ever since i was a kid playing with the likes of Jeff Hardy, Batista, Edge and John Cena, and we would watch highlights and Royal Rumbles late at night. I convinced my dad to take me and my brother to a Live Event (i believe) in Rotterdam (ahoy). My dad didn’t know where he ended up. I do not remember who were there, sadly. I would love to find out the card or any video footage but i can’t really find any online.

I have been watching WWE again since Wrestlemania 38. Unpopular opinion but none other than Logan Paul peaked my interest once again in WWE. I watched one PLE, and ever since i’ve been hooked once again by the long term storytelling, the characters and the moments. Using my brother’s nostalgia and replaying the games together, i convinced him to come to the Live Event in Rotterdam last year. Luckily there were superstars like Sheamus who he knew from back in the day. We had the main event of Cody Rhodes v AJ Styles who really hyped up the crowd. Also the massive surprise matchup of Gunther v Ijla Dragunov happened on that tour and that was a physical masterpiece of a matchup.

My brother really liked the live event and started following WWE since then. When we saw the announcement of RAW coming to brussels, which is fairly close to us being in The Netherlands i managed to convince him to go one step up from a live event. WWE doesn’t often come to cities near us, so we knew this would be the chance for a long while.

Lo and behold our excitement when we realised we would see the first appearance of John Cena since his heel turn at Elimination Chamber. The card looks absolutely stacked and i can’t wait to feel the atmosphere of the European crowd for a show i will be able to rewatch and relive those moments.

This will be my third show, and first one that will be broadcast.
