Alternatives to Ahi

Hello! Next week I'll be visiting Auckland and currently have dinner reservations at Ahi. I just discovered this sub and I'm seeing some real mixed reviews about the restaurant. I'm now considering changing to another restaurant, but would like some feedback on options. I'm looking to avoid any restaurants that exclusively offer a tasting menu. And ideally the cuisine would still be New Zealand focused. Thank you!
