Possible to get round trip from KC to Lisbon first class with 550k Amex MR?

Wife and I have had a long time wish to go see Portugal. We’re based in KC. We’ve been stock piling Amex points, sitting about 550k today.

We are generically flexible on timing. For context though, we were tentatively planning for October. Part of our bucket list here is doing an international flight first class.

When I punch that criteria into point.me, I only really get results for Delta and AA. And it looks like I’d be spending 250k-350k per passenger. It generally seems like international airline programs deliver the highest possible value, but I am not seeing them as options.

So I have a few questions: 1. Does KC to Lisbon with 550k MR points seem feasible?

1. Am I using point.me wrong to limit international programs or are they likely just not available?

2. Any advice on the timing component? Barring “let’s randomly take a trip next week” scenarios as we have 2 toddlers.

I know this sub can be strict with the kind of content they accept, and I’ve tried to do my research, but feel like I’ve hit a wall and hoping to get some guidance from those more experienced in the hobby. Thanks in advance for any insight you can offer!

Edit: forgot to include that on the point.me search, it was American Airlines that had 250k price, so it’s not eligible for transfer of MR points.
