Is hot head a symptom?

I got diagnosed with cfs maybe....8 years ago? I don't remember exactly when. I just remember doing a bunch of tests for a couple years and suddenly a doc being like "well we ruled everything else out so maybe its cfs" and then I didn't really know what to do with that info so I'm really just in the last few years actually learning about it.

I got covid last year for the first time and my symptoms have been worse since. Heart palps are more frequent and I've gone from mild/moderate to moderate/severe. One of the big things I've been having trouble with is lots of headaches and my head is physically warm. I sleep with an icepack on my head and get a lot of headache relief from just using icepacks on my head and neck.

I tried to talk to my doctor about LDN (not sure if this symptom may be related to neural inflamation) but she said I have to see a therapist about it because she can't prescribe it.

Is this a normal symptom and is this the best way to go about attempting to treat it? With the state of everything in america right now, I don't know how long I'll be on medicaid and am hesitant to try to start a new med if it might not help.
