GS Retirement Worksheet - Updated w/ 2025 Rates
Here's my annual update. I added some more rows in case anyone wants to work for 51 years. I tried to update the comments to make it easier to understand. The link automatically makes a copy so hopefully I don't get random edit requests throughout the year.
Let me know if you have any questions on the functionality. I'm now in a lab demo but I still use this as my pay is roughly equivalent to the GS scale. I've had requests in the past to edit for other scales, you can do this yourself by adding rows to the bottom of the second tab and using a unique ID for each row. For instance WG-1 in row A and whatever that pay is in row B. Then on the main sheet just type WG-1 in column H, and so on. Let me know if that doesn't make sense.

Below is one for LEO folks, it's a test one, I may have seriously messed up the formula so if someone can QA the formula in Column "E" that would be awesome. I tried to make it so you have to have at least 20 years, if you do you get 1.7x(high 3)x20, then for anything after 20 years you get (1.7x(high-3)x20)plus(.01x(years over 20)x(high-3).
