Charity donations

Hi, I was a bit too friendly and nervous to say no and signed up to a monthly heart donation outside the warehouse . They took my card details. Said they would send an email and call for confirmation. I didnt answer the call or fill out the email fill response. I called my bank and they said to cancel card which we did. Im just wondering if this is all i need to do now. I was planning on blocking the emails and just want peace of mind that i wont be charged. Payments wouldnt start til next month.
