I wish stupid downvoting was a bannable offence

I was just reading a thread about what last name people's babies will have and there are comments downvoted simply because people disagree with them. That's not what the downvote means, the downvote means "this is not adding to the discussion". If someone started talking about their carrier pigeon's last name, sure, downvote them. If they are on topic, if you disagree, either reply and have a conversation like an adult, or keep scrolling.

Everyone here should be an adult, can we all please act like adults.
