Help deciding between T480 and T14 gen 2

Specs:

T480 for $160:

• i5-8350U
• 16GB RAM
• 256 NVMe ssd
• FHD touchscreen display

T14 for $310:

• AMD Ryzen™ 5 PRO 5650U
• 16GB RAM
• 512 GB SSD
• FHD 45% NTSC display

I wanted to go for the T14 but I read that the 45% NTSC display is pretty bad.

I'm going to run linux on it and do mostly web dev / programming stuff. I also have a MacBook Pro 16 with the M1 Pro chip for more intensive tasks.

Is it worth double the price for the T14 gen 2 even with that display or would I be fine with the T480?
