Mortgage denied, thinking of buying a camper and working remote

We have been saving for several years for the downpayment, we took sacrifices in order to get to this moment and they have rejected our mortgage, the system is rigged.

The next step after buying the apartment was to get a camper for trips, now we are considering taking all that money and buying a camper to go almost full time travel while we work remotely from there with Starlink.

I have traveled for long periods on a motorhome in the past with my parents and loved every bit of it, I cannot find reasons not to do this almost full time.

Are we crazy or does this make some sense?
