This is Gidget and she's the best koala plush Ever!
Koalas need LAND. Rapidly becoming extinct in their most fertile native habitat on the Koala Coast of South East QLD and Northern NSW. People are often shocked to learn the koala is in danger. We hope this little corner of Reddit can highlight this serious issue facing Australia's most recognisable national icon and the natural heritage in which it thrives. Australia holds the shameful title of having the world’s highest mammal extinction rate. We cannot let the koala join that list.
This is what I've been able to do with what I already had and from making things out of magazines. I've never had so much fun with a hobby. Next I'm going to try to make some furniture with ice cream sticks! How am I doing so far?
