The patina on my Solid Brass - dated June 2015.

Made a herb planter with some scrap feather edge cladding. Will line the inside to protect from moisture. Really rustic but I'm happy with it. Plan on making a few more for Christmas presents. Improvements or variation ideas welcome.

What type of hammer is this? Similar to a cross pein however the shape is slightly different, is it an older design or for a specific purpose? There are some stamped lettering which read MATKOR M.E.C I believe.
