This is part one of an E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial Double-sided 1:12 Diorama I am making and it's dripping with Nostalgia! I did not make the ET, he is the 2002, 20 year Anniversary doll. Background is some of my collection also.
I decorated this Halloween Witch's Shop for the Wall, some items I made, some I purchased.
With Spooky Season around the corner, I thought it was time to finish my Abandoned Asylum!
I made a "Practical Magic" witch's conservatory inspired by the movie for my dollhouse. For those interested in the whole process I have the link in the comments. I also show how to make a mini mortar and pestle from polymer clay.

I used tiny ROCKS for making MINIATURE FOOD. I work in 1:12 scale but this could easily work for many scales. Fun for the kiddos too!

Here is my Charming Spring Kitchen, I made the room box from foam board, the vines from paper bags/ packing material and the stones from egg cartons. I also did several trash to treasure conversions.

I'm continuing to work on the Back To The Future Garage. I built a science lab with foam, wire and doll packaging and converted a traditional school desk into a Mid-century metal tanker desk with wood remnants. clay and staples. :)
