The cartridge is often referred to simply as .22 LR and various rifles, pistols, revolvers, and even some smoothbore shotguns have been manufactured in this caliber.

Over 3,000 rounds through this and still my favorite gun in my arsenal. New upper, bolt, and optic coming in for a new complete upper swap. (I live in Illinois for people wondering about the non-threaded uppers)
